Do you realize Vancouver doesn't have enough cap space to afford another forward?
Trading a draft pick and a prospect player to SJ for another forward isn't going to help.
Vancouver's main priority is to get either a top 6 forward or a top 4 RHD, which is difficult to find.

Barabonov can play like a top 6 at times, is that good enough?

Hmmm?
You make a good point.
How can Vancouver afford him?
If for example, Vancouver trades Myers or Garland for Barabonov, it could make sense.

I don't mind that Sabres trade but would prefer to send you Ostlund over Rosen

No, they don't consider this trade at all.

Impossible to say, unless you’re Kevin Adams…. are you? Lol
Ferraro is a pretty good young defenseman
Seems like an overpay to me, but idk a ton about Ferraro

From what I’ve read:
He’s a left shot, but does play 23min a night on their top pair, so he could potentially be a partner for Dahlin
And he’s only 25, so he fits the timeline perfectly for us

The Canucks won't be trading either player.

Garland has 7 points in the last 6 games and his chemistry with Blueger and Joshua makes them the best line on the Canucks right now.
Myers can play steady Top-4 minutes and is in the last year of his deal. Canucks are only moving Myers out for an upgrade on the right side.

Also, Barabanov is a terrible top-sixer; he only has 29 goals in 175 NHL games. Dakota Joshua has 24 goals in 155 NHL games. Last season, 32 of his 47 points came from either Karlsson or Couture (as goal scorer or first assist), meaning he only had 15 points away from Couture and Karlsson last season. It should come as no surprise that playing away from Couture and Karlsson this year, he's struggled to score with just 1 goal and 4 assists in 14 games, all four being secondary assists and all coming on the powerplay. Add on the injuries he's faced this season, and he's not worth Karlsson + 3rd. Canucks are better off putting those assets toward a higher-quality player.

I am hoping this trade will happen.
