Petterson would cost a 1st + an A prospect. Maybe more.
Ned would cost a 2nd. A 3rd if the Pens are definitely out and a 1st if they are definitely in.

The Panthers aren't moving Stolarz until Knight is 100% ready to make his full-time NHL return. That won't be until the TDL, in the best case. And even then, Stolarz is cheap and effective 3rd goalie, I doubt he is traded

Um well his pairing with Karlsson is the best in the NHL in goal % and he was 7th best last year with Letang in expected goal %. He is a top pairing shutdown defenseman who is making 4MM for 1.5 more seasons. Those aren't cheap.

Plus GMs often go "all in" and trade more than they should.

Oh yeah. Ned would be a 2nd (since it would be low). He has played really well. Before tonight's game (because the data isn't finished yet) he ranked 4th in the NHL in goals saved above expected per 60 and ranks 12th in WAR.

A team would need to overpay to get him (why I said maybe a low 1st) unless the Pens are definitely out.
