That is a horrendous trade. $10,150,000 in additional cap going to Minnesota??? Absolutely laughable especially since we only get one desirable player in the deal while Montreal takes two. That is a SEVERE downgrade to our team which now has zero chance of re-signing Granlund and Foligno under the cap. Even filling out a 20 man roster would be tight without just using ELC guys who are nowhere near ready for the NHL full time.

Bad deal for the Wild, they lose the best 2 players in the deal.
