Berggren put up 28 points in 67 games last year, he'd defs be able to step in the lineup. I agree though that Wahlstrom is a better target.
I'm so torn on trading Broberg. I do think he'll end up being a solid 2nd pair dman, but it just won't be with the Oilers. Its frustrating because Holland should of traded him 2 seasons ago or even last year. But he's only trading him now, when his value is so minimal.

The thing with Broberg though is that he was always going to be a long play. He has plus size and amazing skating, but he needed to get his brain and hands up to speed. The goal was that with reps in the NHL he could get up to speed, cause the more things you do the same thing, the quicker and easier it becomes. We just never have a chance to give him those required minutes. Maybe he’d have more value 2 years ago, but still would have needed that time to get comfortable in this league. In any case, yeh it’s too bad he won’t be able to do it here, cause with his range and skating he could really be a good piece for any team in this League.

His hockey sense is what is holding him back. Whenever he has the puck, it always seems like he's so uncertain. I feel like this was a big blunder when he was drafted. Holland and co saw his skating, size and athleticism as a plus, which it is. But that basically hid his lack on hockey sense. You can't hide that in the NHL, and that's why he's being exposed.
