Staal, Martinook, and Fast deserve to be in the rankings for Selke... they all are great at shutting down the best lines in hockey at 5v5 (the only reason they've been scored on so much is because goaltending is hot mess that can make a crucial save for their lives). Staal has much better 5v5 analytics than Barkov

how is Carbery not in the running for Jack Adams? top 3 has to be Torts Tocchet and Carbery right? all teams that were projected to be trash and are overachieving. Lav took over a team that finished with 107 points last year.

Hart- If EDM or NJD miss playoffs, Hughes and McDavid probably don’t get top-3 (or at least they shouldn’t).

Calder - Bedard in lead, Faber/Hughes 2/3…then sizable gap. Cooley and Rossi would be my 4/5.

Norris- looks two man race. Hughes or Makar.

Vezina - I don’t know if guys in platoons get there unless their numbers are unreal (ie Hill/Thompson, Ullmark/Swayman). Demko, Hellebuyck maybe.

Yeah people had them bottom 5 and they are currently 3rd in the Metro... 10% is still more impressive than the preseason ratings. WAY more impressive than Lav coaching a 107p team

TBH i really hope they fall out and sell. i would like to draft Demindov but theyll likely try to buy or something dumb. Ovechkin looks pretty terrible atm and thats the only reason this team isnt rebuilding now
