Description

Just a peek ahead at potential 2024 opening night. I'm starting to wonder if Dvorsky and Snuggerud make the team and Bolduc and Dean are forced to spend another year in the jungle, maybe with expanded roles.

Big questions: Would Armstrong break his no-buyout streak and try to fix the defense? Will the Blues get anywhere close to the cap ceiling?

Leddy has played shockingly decent much of the season. He has been decidedly less decent in several of the last 10-ish games.

Nah that dude is awful. Just so so bad on retrievals and never forces turnovers or stops people along the boards or entering the zone.

I think I agree with you on both fronts. Snuggerud is probably ready for a limited role in the NHL and Dvorsky might be ready however there is a little bit of uncertainty after his stint in the SHL. Dvorsky will be a great player, but seeing him in the AHL might be beneficial to know his readiness.

All four players could be ready, maybe two make the jump. My guess is that Bolduc and Snuggerud get a spot on the roster or they split a spot on the roster.

My question is when does Buchinger become ready and are we ever able to make a D change?

Do we think Buchinger is gonna be a sleeper pick that could be a 2nd/3rd pairing guy?
