Evans and Pearson would be extremely better bottom 6 players. They would balance the Sabres roster out and provide dynamic depth. Instead of offensive players floundering in defensive roles. But thanks for your opinion.

Why would COL do that? Answer not a prayer. Allen isn’t picks and Tatar better than Provetsov especially considering COL back up goalie plays maybe 25games the rest of the year. For contrast Zadorov was just traded for a 3rd and 5th but COL is going to pay that a forward on pace for 30+pts and a back up goalie for a back up goalie. 🤣🤣🤣

It’s not the kind of moves the Sabres are gonna make though
Especially not for Krebs, who is playing the role of our defensive center currently

Getting better defensive forwards might be an option at some point, but not at the expense of more talented players
And the guys u wanna send us are average at best anyways
No thanks

Is Prosvetov playing so little because they dont trust him or because the want to overwork Georgiev intentionally?

You can't judge Allen by his stats playing with the Habs. But think what you need to.

Zadorov demanded a trade and limited the teams optins and his value. Furthermore, you can't compare an overpaid 3rd pairing dman midseason and a solid vet backup,

Thanks for your opinion.

Perhaps. Yet Evans is a stud 4C. He would yield a very good return from a contender. Sabres are going to have to diversify that forward group. Can't have 4 offensive lines. And, they aren't doing Krebs value much merit. Thanks for your opinion.

It’s pretty arrogant of you to think you know more about the Sabres than one of their fans
But i guess that’s just Habs fan being Habs fan

Evans would be of interest to me. Mittelstadt would just be a for fun throw in. Not really interested in a Pearson/Olofsson swap. Krebs I would really only trade for a RHD, so unless a Krebs for Harris trade is feasible than I'd rather just keep him

We don’t have “4 offensive lines” though
Wow

And we don’t care about Krebs’ perceived “value”
That’s just dumb
He’s being developed as a 2way Center & the Sabres mgmt is quite happy with him
We aren’t gonna “sell low” on him just bc YOU don’t understand what we are doing here

He isn’t being moved for a 4C
That’s just ABSURD

COL plays their starter a lot. COL shops for back ups in the bargain bit, Francousz, JoJo, Provetsov all cost the Avs zero. On no planet is COL going to pay more for Allen to be their back up for part of a season than they paid to acquire Georgiev. I mean you really think any team is going to trade a 30pt middle 6 forward to improve their back up goalie?

Thank you for the constructive reply. I do think the Habs defense depth could come into play if that is a need. I didnt have much stock in Pearson when he came from Van. I assure you, he is legit bottom 6 LW and PKer.

Yup. That hasnt been working. They caught fire in a bottle with Kuemper. And stuck gold with Francouz as a decent backup. If you are content with this duo into the playoffs. Power to you.

Nobody plays their back up in the playoffs so who cares.

Last year they lost 460 man games and still won the central how wasn’t that working for them? They lost to Seattle because nobody not named MacKinnon, Rantanen, Makar, Toews or Erod scored and they were literally playing an AHL dman at forward. Unless the back up goalie starts scoring points what’s it matter, and before they went outside and let’s not forget Provetsov has been fine they would just give Annunen run. Trading COL a back up goalie at a premium price is just foolish.

Easy no for the Avs. Prosvetov alone as a young cheap back up who has played fine has more value to the Avs in their cap situation than Allen does to them. Tatar is on course to provide 30-40 points. He has more value to them than Allen does. I'd even argue that for a team that hasn't done much drafting as they've traded many picks away in recent years, the picks also have more value to the Avs than Allen does.

Pearson is a fine bottom 6 player but the Sabres don't need more forwards, we need D and goaltending so that just doesn't help us out.
