Might make sense for STL to move Buch back to NYR if come TDL they are going nowhere and are looking to get younger. But...they're not touching Goodrow with a 10 foot pole. NYR are stuck with him until the buyout window opens. So the only way a Buch trade would be possible would be if Chytil remains on LTIR the rest of the regular season. Then- maybe something like 2024 1st + Othmann would catch Armstrong's attention.

The real frustrating thing is that Buch- following years of "tough love"- showed every sign of blossoming into the player he is now. Yet the organization made the conscious decision to pay Reaves and Goodrow rather than Buch. Just a piss poor decision which they tried to disguise as the need to give the young guys top 6 time,
