Siegs and Ham 3rd pair?

Seeing Ruff put Holtz above Palat is such wishful thinking I adore it.

Also, Luke and Miller play way too well together to break up.

Help me out here. IMO, you're a fair and knowledgeable NJD fan. What's going on with them? Not enough Veteran Leadership amongst the forward group? Top aggressive of a defensive group? That's been a hallmark and DHam throughout the years. Simply poor goaltending? I honestly don't watch too many Devils games and want to get a hometown fans opinion.

That Holtz Haula McLeod line was money. If Nosek or lazar can 4C once they get back that’d be fantastic

I kind of look at it as we have three second pairs. Play whoevers going that night and what we need given the situation. Those two could definitely have more icetime than the other pairs on certain nights but I dont think they have been good enough this year to be considered a true solid top pair.

Honestly, hard to disagree with you here. I feel like Bahl and Marino don’t gel great together so I wouldnt mind breaking them up but unless Luke and Miller start looking less good together it would be hard to split them up.

I get that they haven't looked good together, I feel much of that is neither playing well instead of it being a "together" thing, but I'd be more apt to swap Bahl and Siegs than break up Miller and Hughes.
