Perfetti sticking to the wing?

Iafallo has made Scheifele and Connor better, not sure if Vilardi will do that

I think Perfetti or Vilardi needs to take the 2C reins and run with it

I give vilardi/perfetti/barron or gustafsson, leave Connor/scheifele/iafallo and neidreiter/lowry/appleton, then a perfetti/gustafsson/vilardi and barron/namestnikov/ehlers or some combination of that with giving both lines a little bit of everything. Role 4 lines, 1 gets 1 minutes and other 3 battle for reward.

I’m all good with Perfetti taking the 2C spot instead of Namestnikov although I do doubt the coaching staff will go for that option. I like Iafallo but the Schiefele line has been mediocre at best besides a few really good games. Iafallo is a good player especially defensively, but just like Appleton doesn’t really seem to have the puck skills and offensive awareness to keep up with Connor and Schiefele that Vilardi has while also being defensively solid. I also don’t see why they wouldn’t want to go with the CSV combo again seeing that Vilardi was playing with Schiefele and Connor all throughout training camp and looked good with them during the first few games of the season too.
