I agree. But I've said that for almost two years. They clearly don't like him for some odd reason. Baffling.

Trent Cull was a terrible coach for developing players. He's got Colliton now who is tremendous and it showed in Woo's game last season. He's gotta be 6-7D guy on the roster next year. Apparently he's up over 200lbs now and I'd be sad if he was traded. Would be wasteful.

As a Canucks fan I'd love to see Woo get a shot. Problem is the same as what you've outline with your LHD, we've got about 573 3rd pair/7th D on our roster. Outside of our 1-5 (Hughes/Hronek/Cole/Soucy/Myers), we have Friedman, Juulsen, Hirose, Brisebois, Wolanin, Irwin, McWard, and Woo. All those guys are vying for that one final spot on D. Woo has taken major strides forwards in his development under a new coaching regime, and he really needs to get a shot at some NHL minutes so we can see what he is and what he has the potential to become. I'd definitely not be happy if we traded him, but it seems like he could end up headed down the Rathbone path if he doesn't get the call up at some point in the next season or two.
