He just finished remodeling his $5M home in Lake Forest, IL where his GF and kid moved into last week or this week (moving trucks where there) so he's quite close. Add to a bigger factor Cat and he text almost every day. Lastly, Kane played AAA in Detroit and lived with a family there so there's a connection to he area. All things pointed that direction given the Hawks suck so it was the closest option.
