So imo something like Wood and Askarov (think those are the top two prospects for the preds) + 2 1sts. Might need to throw in another top prospect or someone like Glass.

It's impossible to say his true trade value. Oiler fans will of course think he's worth multiple 1st's + multiple prospects/current player(s) but teams also aren't going to empty their cabinet for 1 player.

Yup, the oilers wouldn't have a ton of say. He'd also obviously need to request to be traded, which if he does they should do that. Better to move him for pieces than let him walk.

I personally wouldn't be too shocked if they trade Leon at the deadline this year if things look dark and if they do that I'd be McDavid asks for a trade in the summer.
