All the Flames deals are at least worth considering
1) I think Zadorov is worth something like a 2nd and 4th, so I'd take that 100%
2) Lindholm is younger but, might not come back, Kuz has the the same PPG so far and an extra year on his contract + 2mil retention + a 2nd, I'd take it but, other Flames fans might hate
3) I'd probably say no to this one, I think the value is lacking but, I don't watch a ton of WSH hockey so maybe van Riemsdyk and Jensen are better than I think
4) At this point I want the Flames to waive Vladar because I think Wolf needs to be playing in the NHL full time, so getting anything would be cool

Wilson is one of the most overrated players in the world. Leonard is the only asset that may come close to what Willy is, but that's unlikely.

JT isn't a UFA until 2025-2026, you still have to live with his money next season 2024-2025, a season where Nylander will also be getting $10M. So next season you'll be paying Matthews, Tavares, Marner, and Nylander all over $10M. O yeah and paying Reilly $7.5M. Good luck getting any depth then.

It'll be a harder year but there are some very possible cheap solutions. Knies is an impact player on an ELC, Minten will be more ready next season and Cowan isn't as far back as many will say. Plus there are some decent Marlies who look ready as well. There is adequate depth available if some young guys progress a bit. And then JT is making much less and the cap goes up. It's really not half as hard as your type wants it to be.

Well good luck! At some point TOR has to realize they need to get some depth. We'll see if it works out for them.

They don't. It's proven every year. This season their bottom 6 is Robertson-Domi-Jarnkrok, McMann-Gregor-Reaves. Oof that isn't good.

Reeves sucks yeah, I never liked that signing but Domi, Jarnkrok and Robertson have been quite good since put together. And McMann, Kampf and Gregor will be a decent 4th line. I know you want the Leafs to fail and hate them more than you like the caps but at least take a look at things
