I don't hate the concept, but I really like Bussi as a quality NHL goalie. He may not be a stud, but I could see him being a fringe starter. With Ullmark's contract almost up, he can slide into that #2 role behind Swayman.

I love Brandon Bussi and think he’s going to be a long term starter. That said, he is waiver eligible. I also like Svedeback and Dick as prospects

Well done with the mocking. This trade would reek of desperation from an Edmonton perspective.

If the Oilers are trading Hollaway (albeit he's struggling), it's not for a 25 year old playing in the AHL, no matter how much Bruin fans want to talk him up.

The irony is I really like Bussi and when you understand his path, the age is less of a concern. He has the athleticism to be a plus goalie in the league and if I were a GM who needed a goalie, he’d be one of five prospect targets I’d pursue.

Holloway is better than his struggles, but I don’t believe this would be a terrible deal. If I were them, I’d be calling Nashville about a Holloway / Askarov deal and be willing to add a second rounder (maybe more but keep the first round rounder)
