Right now, we're running a 5F PP. If that fails, we may see Faber get a look on the PP, but it's hard to say for sure. He's been so good at 5 on 5 and PK, I kind of doubt we overload him and give him PP1 as well. Have to remember that the NHL schedule is a marathon, not a sprint, and we don't want to burn him out by giving him too much responsibility as a rookie. He's already leading the team in ATOI which is kind of insane.

I really don't think Faber will be moved down the lineup though when Spurgeon comes back. He'll stick with Brodin, Spurgeon will slot back in with Middelton, Mermis will take over 3LD, and Hunt will return to Iowa.

Neithet Faber or Spurgeon are ideal fits for the PP as both are defense first defensemen and neither have great offensive instincts. They can both fill in on the PP when needed, but neither should be above PP2 consideration.
