If Edmonton is Cup or bust then no one is going to offer a hockey trade to improve your goalie and take a boat anchor in campbell. Oh an your genius GM does not have any cap space either

Edmonton is giving up a realllllly solid young offensive RD so - hockey trade shmockey trade lol San Jose would for sure love to have a true 2 (1?) RD over a period where our goal tending doesn't matter and we have loads of cap space.

I didn't want to make other moves because those tend to distract from what I wanted to generate discussion about idk why you are so salty. But just to drive the point home this doesn't account for cap space accrual so this is likely affordable as is closer to the trade deadline
