That’s an overpay for Peeke and a huge overpay for Raddysh. As for Gallant, I’d agree that it wouldn’t be a bad idea if they can’t turn things around.

If that's the offer, CBJ have already sent in the paperwork to get it done. Peeke for a 2nd would be a great return, the rest is just icing on the cake.

That is NOT even a slight overpay for Raddysh. A 20 goal scoring pending RFA on a LESS THAN LEAGUE MINIMUM cap hit is easily worth a late 1st all on his own. Kulak holds no value to CHI.

The 1st is likely enough for Raddysh, maybe the late pick but Kulak isn't needed.

Hawks would probably consider this. They value TRad pretty highly. Kulak is a serviceable NHL D man but at best he's replacing Tinordi and Zaitsev on 3rd pair RD for a team with no real expectations of winning, so he's not a valuable piece. The 3rd probably covers taking his cap hit for this season and then he gets bought out in June.

Raddysh played 3 minutes a night on PP last year, scoring 7 of his 20 goal on PP. So unless Edmonton is planning on moving someone of the leagues best PP this trade has no value for them.

That makes sense. A third might get it done, depending when this trade takes place. For comparison sake, at the beginning of the 22-23 season it cost VAN a 2024 2nd to dump Dickinson's contract on CHI, which was pretty similar in term, cap hit, and actual salary. So, using that knowledge, if this trade happens now at the beginning of the season, I'd say it might take a 2025 2nd to get it done. But who knows. I don't think CHI would be too upset taking on his contract. Especially if they are ready to send one or two of the rookie dmen down in the near future. I know they would probably be ok with scratching Zaitsev for the rest of the season, or even waiving him.
