Familiar Face for Alvin and Rutherford. Doubt we can get a defenceman for Beauvillier and flip 2 struggling players in a early season could need a change of scenerybefore it gets ugly.

Beauvillier plays better in a top6 role and replacing Kapanen with Beauvillier in that 2nd line role playing with a playmaker like Buchnevich could boost his stats.

Garland has been invisible so far playing from 1st line then being demoted to the 4th. Change of scenery is what Garland needs and getting Appleton who is a solid depth piece and taking on Logan Stanley who is basically Myers 2.0 but have to take him back for Cap reasons.
IF vancouver have a trade like this and Canucks not retaining any salary. They have to make the call.

Garland getting a fresh start is exactly what he needs. Repalcing Appleton on the 3rd line role and once Vilardi comes back he will probably be on that 2/3 C and i think they will be a good duo. Garlands hustle and playmaking setting up Vilardi in the slot is the vision i see. You also dont lose much for a guy who has a former 50pt scorer.
