A 3rd line of Mantha - Domi - Jarnkrok may be the biggest question mark of a line in the league. A huge gamble.

They need 2 defenders. & likely 1 top 9 forward to help with depth scoring but that will depend how Bertuzzi, Domi, and Knies play this season. But a middle 6 winger is something they’re considering trading for. Or they’d prefer a centre so they can move Tavares to the wing

Kampf is in no way a cap dump he’s elite defensively

He's a 4th liner making 2.4 mil at a time where almost every team is too cap strapped to pay their 4th liners any more than a mil

Still leaf’s don’t do either of these trades we love kampf yeah he’s maybe a little over paid but he’s well worth it to us

Completely understand that. It's a lose, lose trade. Hawks have about 3 lines full of 4th line guys. No need to acquire another one

Kampf is good at what he does but Toronto overpaid him, so he is their issue to deal with now. Timmins is a waiver wire player with no real value. Hawks easily decline.
