Zub is a good top-4 RHD, Hamonic is "ok" if on the 3rd pair... so they needed one Top-4 RHD

There was a technical reason why they preferred to have Brannstrom on LD, and it was related to having to play more on his backhand. It makes sense because one of the best Brannstrom attributes is how fast he recovers the puck and moves it swiftly out of the D zone. having to use more his backhand diminishes that strength and hurts the team transition ability.
