I think this team is really good. Absolutely love the top 6 and top 4 D. Think the third line has been pretty solid so far, and 4th line even though they've been hemmed in their zone a lot I think have looked well in spurts. I think 1 more trade at the deadline and we will be in the mix for the cup.

Entire top 6 is playing lights out. Smith and Malkin have unreal chemistry. 1st line good as always. Rust looks like he's going to have a huge bounce back year. Karlsson I think has helped the transition game a ton. I think Harkins has looked solid on the 3rd line. Nieto I like his speed. Acciari I think has been solid. Also need to give credit where credit is due, I think Carter has looked better than last year. The team just feels fresh and exciting this year. Hasn't felt like this in a long long time. Feel like it got progressively more stale every year after winning the cup, but this year I think Dubas made the right moves and put the right players around the core.

Also not sure how we'd make the cap work on this trade or any at the deadline besides a minor move. Open to ideas.
