If they half retained on him they’d definitely get a 3rd minimum though

Locking up a retention spot for 4 more years for a 3rd isn't worth it especially if you're already using one for Ullmark. As an Oilers fan I wouldn't trade anything for Campbell at 1.25x4 his skating is terrible and he's always way too deep in his net plus it ends when he's 35. Oilers are probably buying him out at the end of this year or the next.
