How haha I wouldn't do that as a nucks fan. Don't want Sprong or Aston Reese. Garland is actually good and is just overpaid slightly. Produced incredibly well 5v5. And Hoglander is a fun prospect albeit he needs to make a jump this season.

Sprong had similar numbers and makes alot less and that contract is not good for Garland. Also do not want Hoglander

Garland @ $4.95M or Sprong @ $2M they both put up 46 points last season. Now Höglander is better than ZAR and there is no need to give up a pick as well. All things considered I'd rather have Sprong. Plus that pretty much eats up the rest of Detroit's cap space.

Garland is better 200 ft player. Sure higher cap number…maybe eat a chunk. They probably will have to anyway.

But even with 50% retained your still have to deal with him for 3 seasons. Now if you wanted to take one of Chariot, Holl or Copp back in a 1 for 1. But I'd take Sprong over Garland all day long.

I meant to ask this the other day. Did you watch Jack's interview on the bench after the game? Either she is didn't put any thought into the questions she asked or she was trying to bait Jack into saying something selfish. I think he handled it very well and he made it clear it wasn't about him its about team.
