While I agree, I simply just comment on Flyers posts and some other posts that I have done research on. If there wasn’t 75 “Joseph out” ACGM teams made a day by OTT wants that include him being traded to Philly or SJS for less than what the known asking price is, I wouldn’t comment 75 times a day that the Flyers decline. You think eventually people would realize that it’s known that the Flyers won’t accept less than a 1st based on like 5 different reports that Sens fans would stop trading him for a 2nd 😂😂😂

But to be fair as a fan I see that they are trying and in a normal year a 2nd to move a guy like him is insanely good offer. This year with so many teams cap strapped and struggling to field a good team under the cap it compounds the issue. There are only a handful of teams under the cap and those teams aren’t making the playoffs so why add 3 mil to their roster that doesn’t help attendance or financially? Unless your getting a good pick, even then I see owners balking at adding them, right now I think sharks owner is looking at 24/25 and excited we will finally be near the cap floor instead of ceiling. And while that won’t last more than a few seasons but 20-25 mil cap space is huge for a team that is seeing 65-70% capacity most nights.

Well if it’s your team and everyone is demanding something you feel is crazy I get the pushback, and Canadian fans and original 6 fans notoriously overvalue their players and undervalue everyone else in the league. Take these with a grain of salt know they aren’t realistic and move on is my best advice.

Only reason I say no is because Joseph would probably be getting a spot over Foerster or Brink. So if the Flyers instead bury him or someone else in the AHL than yeah I'm game for this.

Yeah unless Flyers would really value upgrading a 3rd to a 2nd and add a 4th over developing Brink/Foerster

Sens should keep Joseph and just trade Kubalik anyway (and for a LOT of reasons)
