  1. Lucius, Chaz
Détails additionnels:
Sens get a young waiver exempt centre with good upside..... basically moving a more finished product for one that is a year or two out. With Grieg, Jarventie or Giroux all able to move into the 3C role if and when needed, a move that can make sense
WPG
  1. Pinto, Shane [Droits de RFA]
Détails additionnels:
Jets get an upgrade at 3C. Moreover, couple with Perfetti gives the Jets two young centres that are NHL ready to move forward with. Move also can open up more options in a possible Schiefle deal. But for a year, a C core of Schiefle, Perfetti, Pinto and Lowry would be awefully good.

From a Jets perspective I do that easily. I imagine Ottawa declines or would require the Jets add

Can’t see Ottawa entertaining that after they were so reluctant to trade Pinto in the recent past for either DeBrincat or Chychrun

I debated if a Jets add was required. Luius has a tonne of potential, albeit his first pro deason was, well.....

As it currently sits, Pinto is a dead asset. As with any prospect there is risk. I thought about Lambert here, but not sure that is a place the Jets go

Get it. But I think the longer this goes on, the more the relationship sours. Sooner reinvest than let him depreciate

Well it’s a possibility Norris starts on LTIR so the money will be there but they have to be compliant on opening day. So they likely start first game without Norris and Pinto. And then they can put Norris on LTIR and sign Pinto

That certainly looks like a possibility.

I don't think you are aware of how much Ottawa values Pinto... Like I said, they wouldn't trade him for either DeBrincat or Chychrun, chose to give up high first rounders instead.

Doesn't mean anything, Tkachuk missed the whole training camp and the first 3 games of the season just 2 years ago.

Oh I get how much Ottawa values Pinto. Not oblivious - merely devil's advocate. Not suggesting it is a deal they absolutely do. But, the longer he sits, a decision has to be made imo. There is no doubt I would sooner see a C core or Stutzle, Norris and Pinto. It smacks of Spezza, Fisher and Kelly.....

Could Dorion go all Dubas-Nylander on him and have him stew till Christmas? Sure. And given Dorion's history of getting some very team friendly deal inked it is not outrageous to suggest he is after something similar with Pinto - bridge deal aside.

Let's say moving Pinto becomes the reality. This would be the type of deal I would be looking for.

This is just "hockey fans speculation", we are a lot of people and we talk a lot, very little of what we speculate happens in reality

Like I said, Tkachuk missed the whole training camp and the first 3 games of the season just 2 years ago so a guy who has played 1 NHL season (and had 35 pts) is not the big story we are led to believe. He's not an idiot, he has an agent, they know the current Sens cap situation and understands why there is a delay. Dorion visibly doesn't want to pay anything to move Joseph (and he'd be wrong to do that) and it looks like he might not want to part with Kubalik (not sure why as he made his choice by signing Tarasenko), but all of this could just depend on waiting to see if Norris is going to start on LTIR or not. Apparently, Norris is not mentally ready to go, which happens often for athletes coming back from serious injuries

Yeah and then it becomes a matter of preference, I mean if you are really high on Lucius, it's your call.

Me too, I'd be looking at a top prospect but but maybe not Lucius
