Oh I get how much Ottawa values Pinto. Not oblivious - merely devil's advocate. Not suggesting it is a deal they absolutely do. But, the longer he sits, a decision has to be made imo. There is no doubt I would sooner see a C core or Stutzle, Norris and Pinto. It smacks of Spezza, Fisher and Kelly.....
Could Dorion go all Dubas-Nylander on him and have him stew till Christmas? Sure. And given Dorion's history of getting some very team friendly deal inked it is not outrageous to suggest he is after something similar with Pinto - bridge deal aside.
Let's say moving Pinto becomes the reality. This would be the type of deal I would be looking for.
This is just "hockey fans speculation", we are a lot of people and we talk a lot, very little of what we speculate happens in reality
Like I said, Tkachuk missed the whole training camp and the first 3 games of the season just 2 years ago so a guy who has played 1 NHL season (and had 35 pts) is not the big story we are led to believe. He's not an idiot, he has an agent, they know the current Sens cap situation and understands why there is a delay. Dorion visibly doesn't want to pay anything to move Joseph (and he'd be wrong to do that) and it looks like he might not want to part with Kubalik (not sure why as he made his choice by signing Tarasenko), but all of this could just depend on waiting to see if Norris is going to start on LTIR or not. Apparently, Norris is not mentally ready to go, which happens often for athletes coming back from serious injuries

Yeah and then it becomes a matter of preference, I mean if you are really high on Lucius, it's your call.
Me too, I'd be looking at a top prospect but but maybe not Lucius
