Give Poitras his 9 games. Call up Brown (assuming he clears waivers) or McLaughlin to take his place if he doesn’t work out and has to go back to junior. Waive Zboril and pray someone takes him, he’s been outplayed by Shattenkirk and Mitchell in the preseason and they won’t move Forbort

Could swap Greer with Lauko or Brown

I think having kept Poitras in camp rather than send him to jrs for opener they have to be seriously considering giving him a 9 game run.

Better off if Zboril is not claimed. His full cap hit can be buried and leaves them with more depth.

No way in hell they keep Greer over Lauko.

Yeah I think Poitras is getting a shot. Fair enough about Zboril, as long as he’s not playing for Boston game 1. Is Lauko waiver exempt still? I thought he was which is why I put Greer over him. But if he’s not then yes it’s an obvious choice

Zboril has only played in one game and he got injured so it's tough to evaluate him properly. Shattenkirk was bad in the game he played though. We will see at the end of the week.

Yes Shattenkirk struggled but I don’t think they’d waive him seeing as they just signed him. Would like to see Mitchell play 3RD but just don’t see it happening
