Swapping RHDs probably isn't what the Leafs are looking at.
Interesting that the Leafs signed the aging Hainsey instead of DelZotto....both signed the exact same contracts. Money being equal, you would think Toronto boy Del Zoittowould have preferred Toronto.

I believe all 3 trades get turned down by the non-Vancouver GM. Sutter does not have the potential of Maata and his salary is probably double what it should be. Tanev doesn't fit into the leafs plans of contending for the future, they will either bring in more prospects or more veterans, they have no reason to bring in someone in their prime. Gudbranson didn't work out well in Florida the first time, they're not going to try him again

Except Florida tried to trade Jason Demers to Vancouver for Erik Gudbranson. The only reason the deal didn't happen was because Demers nixed it.
