He was 23 y/o last season and has shown he was too good for a 3rd pairing.

He has averaged 24 pts per 82 games since he was 21 y/o in 2020-21... which is sneaky decent as everyone seems to think he doesn't produces at all.

If he gets traded, has a bigger role with some PP and starts producing more (like 35-40 pts), what value value would a 24 y/o D-man excellent defensively and in transition capable of putting 35-40 pts would have? A lot more than a 2nd...
