Ignoring it’s a bad move for Boston and ovepay for Kuzy…how does LA make the cap work?

They currently have 123k with a 21 man roster. So to get to a 23 man roster and add Ullmark they would have to move roughly 6-8m of cap space…and only a couple of teams have any to spare.

Doesnt Boston need Center badly and they are in luxury of having two NHL starting caliber goalies, which one of them can be shipped ?

I genuinely forgot they signed Dubois to an overpriced deal. Genuinely speaking though, if Thomas was removed, I'd say that's better, Boston imo needs to fix their center depth, and unless pinto's trade price drops exponentially, this is the best avenue for it. I'd put some stock in Kuzy being back to his usual self in Boston, for some reason any player that goes their turns to gold for some reason.

You're not shipping sways thats for sure.

Boston’s center depth is just fine. Zacha, Coyle, Geekie all have term, as does Frederic. Beecher, Poitras, Merkulov knocking on the door. What they need is a long term answer at #1. Kuzy is not that.
