Hawks aren’t giving up picks for players right now. Nylander is a very good player no doubt, but the timing is wrong for the Hawks to make this type of deal. My POV.

I agree with that, also if the Leafs trade Nylander there should be a top 4D coming back in the deal.IMO

if the best piece you're giving up for Nylander is a late 20's 1st, you arn't getting Nylander

The odds of Chicago being on William Nylander's 10 team no trade list is 0%. He's not waiving to go there.

I think that would depend on what his father and brother; who both played in Chicago; have to say about the City and organization.

I mean don't get me wrong, There's tons of talent heading that way led by Connor Bedard. But i just don't see it happening. Nor do i see Kyle Davidson willing to offer him at least 7-8 x 10,000,000M when they're in a rebuild.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure Kyle Davidson wants nothing to do with them. His first move was getting Alex out of CHI's system, likely because he didn't want to hear the incessant nagging from their father about him getting minutes. Like "here you go PIT, they are your problem now." At least that is the impression I got from little bits of information I read from beat writers during Alex's time with CHI. Although, I doubt William would have that issue with CHI, I'd still be willing to bet the bridge was burned with little remorse. But, I could just be reading into things.

Either way, I can barely even see them approaching him in free agency, let alone trading high value assets for him. Especially not at this point in the rebuild. And I definitely can't see them giving him the kind of contract he reportedly wants.
