TML foursomes for golf season start booking your early tee times now

Équipe: 2023-24 Maple Leafs de Toronto
Date de création initiale: 20 sept. 2023
Publié: 20 sept. 2023
Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
This team has 0 chance of going deep in the playoffs. They lose their most physical defense and now only have 1 that has any grit at all. Then they add the worst defense possible in Klingberg who is absolute garbage on defense. Start booking tee times because golf season will start very early again for TML. As if they g=have enough depth to run 3 lines deep lmao. Shanahan is a moron and needs to be fired before TML will ever win a cup.

1st foursome is the Swedish connection Nylander, Jarnkrok, Liljegren and Klingberg. Then a Canadian foursome of Marner, Rielly, Domi and Bertuzzi. #rd American foursome is Knies, Matthews,McCabe and Lafferty. Then a mixed foursome of Woll, Kampf, Samsonov and Gambrell. Finally the oldies group with Giordano, Brodie, Reaves and Tavares.

All of their D men are good players. They are missing some size and physicality in their D though. BUT that doesn't need to be addressed before the season starts. The D as currently constructed will be just fine for the regular season.

They will be adding at least one big, physical D this season though. I would be shocked if they didn't.

Patience my friend. Patience.

This team is a contender. Doesn't mean they will win the cup though because there are 5-7 other contenders. But they are in the mix.

Waiting till trade deadline and taking what ever scraps are left over and over paying for them is not a plan. We do this every year and how has it worked so far? If they could not make any moves to improve defense before season starts there is 0 chance we will get what we need later so like I said regardless of whether you think I am a fan or not this team will NOT win. Then to top of the fact we lose Schenn our most physical defense the only defense they add is the wosrt defensive D in the entire league on top of the fact he is so garbage MIN let him walk for free and we expect him to be good lmao!

Don't get me wrong. I thought they should have used the Klingberg money on a physical guy. I understand Keefe much prefers to never play in the d zone, so he wants guys who move the puck well. But we still need a Gudas type (which it sounds like Tre tried to sign). Ultimately, I think they tried this offseason and it didn't work out. They will solve it during the year.

Cap space makes things like this hard to accomplish at times. I really like Bert and Domi adds. Reeves is a fun add but 3 years is wild to me. Klingberg was the only head scratcher. I like him and I think the value is fine. But I thought we should have used that money on a physical guy.

We will see how the rest of the year goes.

I assume they go after Tanev. But he is also not overly physical. Very good dman though.

Lol, 90% of your agms are the leafs trading for other teams scraps like zadorov and you're literally complaining about the leafs not keeping one od the 'scraps' they got at last years deadlines in this very agm.

I have gotten past the point of being patient. I see how the off season went and here we are going into the season as we do every year ,knowing we can not win like this and hoping good players come up at trade deadline. That is not how a team wins. How can we just go itno season and HOPE the players we need become available? This is not waht a good management team does in any busines so why do TML do it every single year?

Outside of Domi, this is a really good roster and just as good as any in the league.

I like the Klingberg signing a lot. Bertuzzi is a fantastic player. The top 6 is stacked.

Take a deep breath. It usually comes down to luck and health anyway.

Klingberg can NOT play defense at all , why not make him a winger instead? Bertuzzi had 30 points last year and has never played more then 60 games in a season so don't get your hopes up. They have a 40 year old defense who could not make it all season and yet he is still here and we can't even help him out with a sub because we have a 20 man roster? This is already set up to fail trust me I have been watching this team for over 45 years now and this will not work.Waiting till trade deadline and hoping we can get good players we need is just stupid and the exact same thing we do every year and has never worked and never will.

Okay, so you've been watching the Leafs for over 45 years, but how long have you been off your meds?
