Honestly, the only way Winnipeg gets a return like this from the Kings for Hellebuyck is if they extend him for 4+ years and retain significant salary for the entire duration.

The LA trade isn't happening, LA and Jets didn't even have this in the cards when the PLD trade went down. Blake has been burned enough by goalie contracts, expect him not to make big moves there.

The Zegras trade is not even in the same ballpark, Perfetti and Vilardi would both need to be in play with Connor to get him.

"Good" is subjective based on performance, and we've yet to see what Talbot or Rittich can do on the Kings. Copley put in a pretty darn good performance for the Kings last season, smashing franchise records in the process.

Dont see AZ going for a 33yo LD on last year on deal. He will eat minutes for young future core guys.

We all know what Talbot & Ritter are and neither are winning you a cup. Copley is a career minor leaguer. I guess its possible they have a Vegas like season but I think it's more likely that goaltending drags them from being 3rd in the Pacific to battling for a wildcard. Good luck!

Tim Thomas was a career minor leaguer at age 30 as well.

They had worse goaltending last season with a weaker team in front of them and still managed to comfortably make the playoffs. They'll see what they have with the goaltenders they signed, and if they're not working out, they'll make a move mid-season to bring in some help. However, it's going to be a similar move to last season when they brought in Korpisalo. My guess is Lankinen, assuming he's having a solid season for Nashville.

C’mon, Zegras is a good player but he is not that good.

Kyle Connor is a UFA in 3 seasons, Zegras can be reupped to 8 or reupped and still be an RFA. It's not about who scores the most it's about who you can keep longer. It's highly unlikely Connor reups with the Ducks, for Zegras he has to reup if he wants to play in the NHL. If you want Zegras this bad, have Winnipeg offer sheet him and give up two firsts, a second, and a third.
