Brown didn’t sign that contract to play without 97

Brown joined the Oilers to win a Cup and also earn a rich contract for next season. He has not played a playoff game since 2019 and has never gotten passed the 1st round.

Draisaitl can help him do that too.

His game clearly recovered by the time the playoffs started and in the playoffs in his limited appearances, he got his game back.

I am convinced that had Woody started Campbell in Game 6, the Oilers would have won the Cup.

But he didn't, because he doesn't trust him. Therefore, since Woodcroft is still the coach, the odds of Campbell winning back the starters net in TC are low.
