<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>xxToothxx</b></div><div>Move on ...
J. Guentzel is not worth amy of the proposals on here.
He is overrated and atop the trade board simply due to a lack of options.
Any team acquiring Guentzel will regret it immediately.
He is small, not physical in any way, not fast, not a great skater, no big shot, average stick/puck skills. He has happen to play next to a generational talent , whom did his job, by raising the level of those around him
Do not trade for a field mouse.
He's just collecting all the crumbs left by 87.
I have no doubt Guentzels role and career are easily replicated by Max Domi, Jimmy Vescy, Scott Laughton, heck even Cal Cutterbuck offers more than Guentzel.
Big deal over very little player, pray your team stays away. He will be a bust, unless he finds really big coattails.</div></div>
Dude that’s an insane take

Anderson is 1 year younger and Rakell produces far more. He’s had a rough stretch at beginning of the year but has played better lately. 60+ last year.

In how many less games? Rakell and Iafallo are not comparable at all. Iafallo has never sniffed Rakells production? You don`t need to pay to dump Rakell at all he will be a 50+ point per 82 game producer every year of that contract. Pens just have too many like him on long-term deals.

Rakell is the same age and outproduces Iafallo every year by a pretty significant margin…even in a down year Rakell has more points in less games this year?

No, no you absolutely do. He is still one of the best, if not the best (he was picked again this year for best all around player in the game by the players) in the league. And he is Sidney friggen Crosby...it would be much more than this to get him if anything, but the Pens should settle for less to move him, IMO.

Agreed. He won’t won’t to stay for a rebuild though. And Pittsburgh should happily let him walk or trade him if that’s what they want to do.

It's a shame you can't figure that part out. Only in your head is the most important thing to the players hockey.
you lost all credibility when you try to say Jack Johnson is a good defenseman. everyone is laughing at you troll.</div></div>
No dummy. That’s not what you said and you are backtracking because you sounded like an absolute moron. Not saying he is a “good” d man by nhl standards but anyone who gets drafted top 5, plays 15+ years in the nhl, makes tens of millions of dollars, wins a Stanley cup and plays for team USA isn’t as bad as people like you say, you stupid ****

You’re honestly saying that Sidney Crosby wanted his buddy on the team more than winning? And Jack Johnson is still employed by the way and is a Stanley cup champion. He is only as bad as you think to people like you who know nothing.

He's not leaving and jumping ship. This is a team that took on Jack Johnson for him. Costing them games. He knew that, he didn't care it was more about helping his friend. Hell they are still paying it off. If you think he's going to just bail on them to "chase a cup" when he's got 3 already you are kidding yourself. If he was so consumed with winning a cup, he wouldn't have been pushing to bring Jack Johnson in.</div></div>

That’s not true. POJ is a fine player on any team as a 5-7 D. will never light it up offensively but skates well and makes the plays he needs to. Penguins have too many players like him though and need a different look there which is why the like Ludvig.

If we could then do it obviously…and maybe, but I also think MTL wants to win soon and they need some good veteran players. They need Smith more than they need Savard with all the D they have coming up.
