Sure it's better for them but you think a team is going to take him with three years left on his contract and will only want a second? I wouldn't do it for a first which is why you have to take Fabbri too. Fabbri only has two years left and since I retained saves you almost a million in cap space for the next two years and then you're saving the amount Joseph is making in the third year.

I think Brannstrom sounds like he's probably the most likely to get traded but that's a really tough loss. How many teams with two million in cap space want him and need a dman? Not many need him at this point. Maybe Anaheim or Arizona? Are they going to want a draft pick with him as well? What's that trade going to look like?
