Buchnevich is ok but he'd be yet another left shot LW which we don't need more of. Vrana yet another of the same only not nearly as good overpaid by a lot and a pending UFA to boot which is another thing we don't need or want more of. 32 year old Leddy is too old plus he gets paid too much for too many years to fit the Flames plans.

This deal would be terrible for Calgary.

Buchnevich plays both wings, he's over a PPG over the last 2 seasons, he's at a bargain contract, and he's signed for a year longer than Hanifin. CGY desperately needs another gamebreaker offensively, and Buchnevich is definitely one. IMO he can easily be an 80P player playing with Huberdeau, and the top line we need.

I expect Mangiapane to be a 55P winger this year, but he's very much for sale.

Vrana will surprise you next year, and Leddy at 3.25 is not bad either, think of him as a Zadorov replacement for the 3rd pairing.

If I wanted Hanifin, this would be worth considering. However, I do not.

Just for future reference, all Flames fans: If your Buch offer doesn't begin with Coronato, don't bother hitting submit on the AGM.

That won't happen. Buchnevich is a good player but Calgary needs a top 6 right shot RW not yet another left shot LW. Coronato could be that guy before very long maybe even this year.

I never said it would happen. I said if a Flames fan actually expects to snare Buch, it has to happen.
