Draisaitl translates his regular season play into the playoffs unlike matthews if draisaitl never scored a single goal in the playoffs he would still have more points in less games played in the last 2 seasons draisaitl has 107 goals in 525 shots matthews has 100 in 675 shots I think it’s pretty obvious draisaitl is way better

McDavid Makar Mackinnon draisaitl Tkachuk are all way better and more consistent than matthews he is not a top 5 player in the league

Draisaitl's also 2 years older, is a worse goal scorer and is way worse defensively and is a more impactful player 5v5... It's obvious who's better... Matthews has the most goals at 5v5/60, at 5v5 and in general since entering the league... Just bc Drai is a PP magician, doesn't mean you can discredit the other side of the puck
