Of all the trades you’ve posted this is the one I don’t mind. Extensions are what would come in play with this one. Minnesota I think would want Nylander signed immediately. But Toronto is only getting a bottom pairing D man for another year out of this.
Depth has been the key for Toronto and you have some character in this. Ultimately I think both sides reject as it still doesn’t give Minnesota the centre they need. And despite what so man leaf fan will tell you on here, Nylander is not a centre lol.

Is there an extension involved or is Minnesota just trading the guys playing 1C and 1LD for a rental RW?
