With the cap going up, I think you're going to have a hard time finding 2nd line forwards at 5m.

Don't disagree - this was more to show how much flexibility they will have during their prime years. Not many contending teams can just add $9M without having to do cap gymnastics.

Absolutely agree... I would be fine with $7M but definitely no one coming in instantly making more than Stutzle and Tkachuk.

I think Noesen will make more but that’d be a great support player to add. It took time for him but glad he’s finally turning it into a decent NHL career


I really doubt next management/coaching will neglect the defensive side of the puck as much as during the rebuild so depending when the change happens, someone like Joseph might be kept

I put my vote in for Chandler Stephenson. Probably 8M range for mid-long term IF he hits the market. Great skating and defensive abilities that would compliment Norris and Batherson extremely well.
