Just stop to the Drury to NYR nonsense too. You haven't seen Tom Fitzgerald move the ends of the earth to bring in his family or Kent Hughes do the same... yet here we are

You guys already have your top two centers solidified in Zibanejad and Trocheck and Chytil doesn't play good enough offense or defense to a 2C

I mean I guess that would work but Trocheck is much better deployed as a guy on an offensive-focused line than a defensive one (speaking as somebody who saw him for quite a few years as a Cane) and analytics suggest that he's much better offensive forward than defensive one

Kreider - trocheck - vesey would be a good defensive 3rd line with offensive upside. Or at least that’s what I would run

Kreider and trocheck both have speed to compliment each other

Against the weaker defensive lines and pairings... you're not going to put your top pairing to stop a third line... you are for the first

He’s still good regardless lol there’s no reason to trade him when he’s sign for a good amount and definitely not to a division rival

Trocheck defensive analytics are average at best
Krieder's defensive analytics were not good last year
Jimmy Vesey is admittedly a very good defensive forward

Chytil's totals would've tied for 2nd on the Hurricanes in 5v5 points last season with Martin Necas, and behind only Aho. Tied for 2nd with Svechnikov in 5v5 goals.
