Such a bad idea to keep going back to UFA when they can try out Foote, Holtz, or Clarke in this spot. This is far too short-sighted.

The devils are so deep. That 3rd line would be a nightmare for so many teams. Imagine that line against teams 3rd pairing defense.

Love Tatar, and he'd be better than Holtz in the short term, but for the sake of our long term success we need to bet on Holtz before it's too late

I’ve never been high on Foote, he was never really a big point getter pre-draft and then plateaued or slowed his growth significantly pretty early…Tatar provides elite defensive impacts so I’d like to see him picked up for a deep run this year

And the craziest thing is he deserves the roster spot now more than ever, but we're just that deep

McLeod would definitely not be scratched. Foote would be scratched and Haula could play 4LW

For sure but it’d be Nate out, not Mikey. Mikey is a beast in the circle, a great PKer, and has wheels. Really hoping he isn’t implicated in the Hockey Canada investigation

Haula is almost as good as McLeod on faceoffs, the importance of which are overstated, and Bastian has insanely good defensive underlyings as well, plus has netfront utility on PP2. He's also a pure RW and Foote a pure LW, so it would be awkward to scratch one for the other.

If the Devils wanted Tatar they wouldve signed him already. Plus no thanks, we have to start developing the young player, yall just want to ruin them. Like last year when Holtz was sitting in the box for most of the time you all wanted him in the AHL or to be played, now you want Tatar back so we have the same problem. Damn devs fans are clueless.
