Easy no by the Isles of cap reasons, and for one year of Nylander. Easy no by the Leafs for even a 5m Boesner. Gee keep Liljegren, Robertson and sign Tatar for 3.3m and be much better off.

Boeser is much better than Tatar, that is not an overpayment by them

Don't expect Liljigren to necessarily become Quinn Hughes IDEAL partner should they play together, he likely wouldn't be available if that has a good chance of working out that well

The Leafs' prospect pool isn't dry, just not large

I agree, if you wanna look for a dry prospect pool, look no further than Boston, Pittsburgh, Edmonton, Colorado, Tampa Bay, and Vegas. Some of which have legitimate excuses to be as bereft of upcoming talent as they are, while the same can't be said about those other teams

Yeah Boston and EDM's pools honestly shocked me when I seen rankings of them.

Edmonton's plummeted once they traded their 2023 1st along with Reid Schaefer to Nashville to get Matthias Ekholm
