Pretty sure Batherson will be playing so this puts OTT way over the cap.

The only reason to move Joseph would be to clear space for THIS season.

Next year, even if the Sens still have Joseph, they will have 6-7 M$ in cap space after inking Sanderson and Pinto to long term contracts and with only needing a Top-9 forward and a 4th liner.

Which is one of the reasons why it would be smart to keep Joseph and trade Kubalik now.

Carter is toasted and Joseph is a pretty decent hockey player. He's been fabricated as a major cap dump by CF stupidity because of 1 down season and the current cap problem. He scored 30 ES + PK points in 69 games in 2021-22, while being good defensively and having top PK metrics
