TOTALLY agree. I'm hoping he can stick at 4C, but I think that's his ceiling. For the record, I think Drouin is going to work out, I just wanted to take a look at what things might look like if we didn't add anymore up from. If there's any argument to be made about adding a depth forward instead of a #6 d-man, it's this scenario right here.

Yup. It would have to be HORRENDOUS. And I'm a person who likes to think about the worst possible scenarios in all facets of life and this forum is cheaper than therapy

Understandable for sure, but even if he doesn't work out, don't think he'll be bad enough to prompt the Avs to put Myers on the 3rd line

Heck if Drouin flopped on the wing in the top6, I’d rather move Colton up and have Drouin 3C over Meyers
