Plus was mentioned that Hellebuyck was pissed about the bubble tournament there in Canada and was fed up with the crap in Canada.

Sorry, I wasn't aware that you know everything Jets related. I am pretty sure that Hellebuyck said that he wasn't in for a rebuild. I also know that just after the Dubois trade, Chevy came out and said that he has been talking to Scheifele and Hellebuyck's agent and that neither sides have ruled out extensions. Those were Chevy's comments on re-signing the two, which I don't think he would make up considering he knows his players are going to see it, but to be clear. I did not hear Hellebuyck specifically say those words.Now, I will say that I heard that Hellebuyck said he will not sign an extension, but that was prior to the Dubois trade when he thought that Winnipeg was headed for a full rebuild. I have never and cannot find a single article saying that he said he will only play in the states or close to home. Not sure why all Wings fans think that any player born close to there wants to play for the Wings.
