Joseph is okay, and reality is I’d just keep him as his value is really low right now and I’d be willing to bet he improves in his 5v5 play this year. The 2nd would be a nice add and I think Granlund can offer a bit more offensively than Joseph. And I was going at a 22 man roster and with Pinto signing around 3x3 which would put the sens around 900k over cap with Granlunds full contract but little amounts like that can be shuffled around lol

Fair point - I should have been more specific/clear haha. My fault. Basically I was just trying to say only one of those moves needs to happen. If you dump Granlund you don't need to make that Petry trade - and vice versa. Although I would much rather go with the former

Actually, I'm not sure one or the other is enough. The next issue might be carrying three goaltenders on the main roster, all of whom are making above 100% buriable cap hits

It might not, I'm too lazy right now to do the math haha. I'm leaning towards it would be enough though - just not enough if you want a 24 man roster with 3 goalies. I fully expect Nylander and Ned to start in the AHL at this point.

And of course we have the extremely easy fix which is just buyout Granlund. But it doesn't seem like they want to do that.

Yeah, safe to say the Granlund trade was the final nail in the coffin for Hexy
