Pesce costs more I'd imagine. If Carolina would do that I'd do it but I can't imagine that deal moves the needle.

Yea thats not getting Pesce. Hoglander is well on the road to NHL bust who gets moved for another struggling prospect (Smith for Patrick for example)

He has little value. Rathbone isnt good. IDK why canucks fans think he is lol. And the picks aint much

when your spec pool is shallow, fans often will overrate the "better" prospects in the system. Rathbone is valueless though I will say he had good value and upside a few seasons ago. Hoglander is probably equivalent to a 3rd right now. He was very good in the AHL and has had his moments in the NHL, but is more of a victim of an overflowing lineup (and thus a role) than a lack of his own skill.

I see Pesce going for about the same as Hronek did; 1st + 3rd. So the Canucks should pass.

VAN is massively overvaluing their draft picks here. Why would we trade a 2nd paid RD for a terrible 3rd pair LD and an even worse 4th line winger at best. Neither one of those pieces would make CAR lineup. Quantity of the return doesn't mean there is any quality there, because there isn't. This move doesn't help CAR in any way, Canes say no.
