Keep in mind the cap is going to go up a minimum of 3-4 million a year over the next few seasons so the salary term will not look as bad - thinking a deal similar to the Nemeth salary dump would work (2nd and 3rd rd pick - no prospect sent back to NYR like in the Nemeth trade). This is the reason why I felt they should have just bought him out this year. The cap hits would have been more than reasonable.
