Lindholm? That’s your gamebreaker? Zzz

Don't need a gamebreaker, just need more solid production. This team would have made the finals if Svech didn't have a once in a career injury. Now, with Bunting and Orlov, they're already better than they were last year. Adding in Lindholm just puts the finishing touches on a roster that now has no real weaknesses

And no real threats

Svechnikov, Aho, Necas, are each very real threats...

I’d be surprised if flames move Lindholm for futures; maybe at the TDL if they are out of it. But playoffs are legit possibility for them - even if they decide to move Hanifin.

aho-lindholm-KK-Staal is a fantastic center lineup, especially to go along with the current D. How many points do you think Lindholm puts up playing with Svech and Necas? 70-80 probably? I'd take that from my 2C all day. Vegas just won the cup and their leading scorer had 66 points. they did not have a PPG player on the roster for the season.

That has to come with an * because Stone and Eichel are PPG players usually...

yep thats fair, but my point stands that you dont have to have a 100 point player to win the cup if your team is properly balanced.

Eichel's a 100 point player, MacKinnon on the avs, take your pick on Tampa, St Louis didn't have one. Ovi on Washington wasn't really, but they had enough PPG players to make up for it. Pittsburgh had Crosby and Malkin, Kane and Toews in Chicago, LA had... Jonathan Quick really. Boston had Bergeron, Marchand etc, Detroit had Datsuyk, Zetterberg, Anaheim had Selanne, Getzlaf, Perry, hell we had a 100 point season from Eric Staal.... you don't *need* a 100 point player, but it sure makes it easier

Eichel has never had more than 82 points in a season.
